The CBCS National Honors Society is hosting the 6th annual Empty Bowls charity event. The event is on Sunday April 7th, from 5-7pm. The National Honors Society works with Mountain Roots Access & Outreach Program, and help raise awareness for hunger in the Gunnison Valley. The Mountain Roots Access & Outreach Program works specifically with underserved audiences( such as low-income and minority populations), with community partners, groups, and individuals to build and revitalize our local community by providing equitable access to nutritious, affordable food that is regionally based and sustainable produced. |
