 A local food story brought to life, Feast in the Field is a rare and personal culinary experience. ""Farm to Table"" is a term you see everywhere now, from supermarkets to chain restaurants, but at Feast in the Field, you will experience farm-to-table in a way you never have before. With the incredible cuisine, expertly prepared and paried with delicious handcrafted cocktails and carefully selected wines, the wholly locally-grown ingredients, the ability to meet the farmers who provided everything on your plate, and the flame-roasted local meats, you will be immersed in your very own farm-to-table experience. You'll enjoy all of this in the spectacular setting of the Red Dog Ranch, at the base of Gibson Ridge, within biking distance of Crested Butte. What sets this event apart from other gourmet dinners and fine dining is that we bring the farmers and ranchers who work the land to you. We bring the chefs who transform raw ingredients into the most delicious dishes to you. We join together to dine on a working ranch to strengthen the connection that we have to food, to the land, and to each other. As we enjoy the food grown right here in our valley, we can develop real connections with farmers and ranchers, vintners and distillers, and chefs. Feast in the Field is a celebration of local food. The dinner seeks to tell the story of local food and bring people closer to its hardworking makers. Food grown by Parker Pastures, Rain Crown Farm, Thistle Whistle Farm, Delicious Orchards and Mountain Roots are just some of the producers you will learn more about during this spectacular evening.
