 Cyanotype Photo Production Using a photographic process developed in the early 1800s, learn to produce and hand-tint cyanotype photos with local artist and owner of the Midnight Gallery, Kimbre Woods. Cyanotype is an iron-based process where students use non-toxic chemicals, paper, and existing negatives of mountain images, taken by the instructor, to print unique, one-of-a kind handmade photographs. After the cyanotypes dry, learn techniques to hand-tint the photographs with washes of watercolor. Choose your favorite of your photographic prints to place in a cut mat frame for a stunning final piece of artwork. When: August 14th, 2018 Time: 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Cost: $55
