 Join us in a celebration of Black History Month with guest artist Fara Tolno for a free event. Fara will be sharing the importance of stories, songs and instruments of his culture with an interactive presentation, enjoyable for all ages. Originating from Guinea, West Africa, Fara will highlight the historical significance and impact of African culture in America and some important influences and effects on the African American culture of today. Please bring water and be prepared to really MOVE! African drum and dance is truly a connecting experience: to the music, yourself and your community. This is an amazing opportunity to move your body in a fun and new way, taught by one of the world’s most notorious teachers. |
