 Moonlight Concert Series: Lizzy Plotkin (Home Stone Release Show) Friday, March 15. Doors 7:30, Concert 8:00 pm. Gunnison Valley's own fiddler, singer and songwriter Lizzy Plotkin is releasing her debut solo album "HOME STONE" - a collection of original songs and melodies that come from the heart. The songs were written as reflections of the wild and free landscapes she calls home. Lizzy grew up in Nashville, TN where, taking after her late, fiddle-playing father, she picked up the violin at age 4 and has yet to put it down. Landing in the Gunnison Valley of Colorado in 2010, she began playing American Roots music of all kinds and writing place-based songs. A cast of Colorado roots musicians will accompany Lizzy and bring these tunes to life at the Black Box Theatre.
