Arting Around: An Exploration of Art Forms
(Ages 5 - 10)
Mondays, 4:00 – 5:00 p.m.
September 15 – December 15. No classes September 29, October 13 & 20, or November 24.
In this class, open to kids ages 5 – 10 students will learn a variety of interesting and out-of-the ordinary art forms such as found-object sculpture, mixed media collage, mosaics, home-made paints, and more. Emphasis will be placed on learning the process involved in each art form, on working as a team to create group pieces, and in experimenting with new materials. The Gunnison Arts Center is accessible by the Deer Bus from the Gunnison Community Schools. $95 for all ten classes. $65 for a six-punch card. $35 for a three punch card. Single-day registration for $13/class. Please register a minimum of three days in advance for single sessions. Instructor: Tiana Struble.
