 Originally from Texas, Jim's acoustic guitar workings focus on fingerstyle folk, bluegrass, country and Americana with deep appreciation for the finger styles of old bluesmen such as Mississippi John Hurt, Reverend Gary Davis and others, combining the more modern styles of Merle Travis, Chet Atkins, Doc Watson and Leo Kottke.
