 Opening at Gunnison's First Friday ArtWalk & Music Friday, January 7, 5 - 7 pm Show Dates: January 7 - 28 Main Gallery: Staff & Instructor Exhibit These amazing local artists and educators bring life to the Gunnison Arts Center through their commitment to their community and students. Enjoy work in many different media, including painting, original choreography, photography, illustration, wood burning, alcohol inks, and more! May this creative exhibit inspire wonder, joy, and the courage to explore yourself through art… it may just move you to take a class with us this year. Upper Gallery: “Make a Scene” Lego Competition & Exhibit Featuring Incredible Lego Art by Maureen O'Donnell, Lego Queen The Gunnison Arts Center has partnered with Gunnison County Libraries to bring you a Lego-building competition and exhibit! This first-come, first-serve competition will allow 20 participants to pick up a kit from the Arts Center, and be as creative as possible. Whether it be straight out of a movie or one of our epic hikes, “Make a Scene” with the kit you receive! Return all pieces, used or unused, to the Arts Center for the Upper Gallery exhibit & competition by January 3rd. Various prizes will be awarded. Winners will be announced at the opening reception, Friday, January 7th at 6 pm.
