Upper Gallery Exhibit and SHOP Sale: Exhibit: “Photovoice: Food Stories from Across Gunnison Valley” From Mountain Roots Food Project Exhibit Dates: October 20 – November 25, 2020 Opening Date: Friday, November 6, 5 - 8 pm. Mountain Roots Food Project is a non-profit on a mission to cultivate a resilient food system in the Gunnison Valley by enhancing healthy connections between food, earth, and community. Photovoice is a collection of stories that have been shared with them during interviews throughout their supper program, free produce markets, and victory garden revival movement. Learn why food security is so important for everyone, especially during this time. These are the faces and voices of food stories across our valley presented in a dynamic, beautiful black and white photography exhibit. Shop Sale to benefit Mountain Roots and the Gunnison Arts Center November 6 - 25, 2020. Some of our extraordinarily talented SHOP artists have generously decided to hold a benefit sale during the month of November to equally benefit Mountain Roots as it runs it’s Upper Gallery exhibit, and the Gunnison Arts Center. Support two great nonprofits in one by visiting the sale in the upper floor of The SHOP at the Gunnison Arts Center! Click here for the event website |
